Job Introduction
The Northumberland Coast National Landscape are seeking an experienced Project Officer to oversee some exciting new projects to engage visitors and encourage car-free exploration of the coast. The Project Officer will be part of the Northumberland Coast National Landscape team, a small and busy team of eight, working to conserve and enhance this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We are looking for an experienced project officer, someone who can manage time and workload to successfully deliver a number of projects on time and within budget. Contract management experience would be beneficial. Experience of visitor travel, access and interpretation isn’t necessary but would be beneficial, more importantly you will be organised, self-motivated and be able to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel throughout the county is required.
The office base is in Alnwick with travel throughout the county. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home. The role is full time (37.4 hours per week) and is initially until 31st March 2026. The salary is £33,024 to £36,648 per annum.
